Dental Implants Flagship
Replace one or more missing teeth permanently — same brands US clinics use.
A dental implant replaces both the root and the crown of a missing tooth. Unlike a bridge, it doesn't require grinding down healthy neighbor teeth. Unlike a removable denture, it stays in place permanently.
The procedure is two phases. Phase one (surgical): the titanium implant body is placed into the jawbone under local anesthesia. The visit takes 60–90 minutes for a single implant. Phase two (restorative): after 3–6 months of bone healing (osseointegration), we attach the abutment and the porcelain crown. From your perspective: two trips across the border, total chair time around 3 hours.
Dr. Inzunza has placed more than 8,000 individual implants since 2009. The success rate at our clinic is 98–99% — equivalent to top US implantology programs. Every implant is documented with pre-op CBCT 3D imaging and post-op X-rays you take home with you.
Single implant + porcelain crown at Dental Inzunza starts at $750–$950 USD depending on brand and crown material. The same procedure runs $3,500–$5,500 in the US.
Materials
Implant systems we offer: Straumann (Switzerland), Nobel Biocare (Sweden), Zimmer (US), MIS (Israel). Crowns in porcelain-fused-to-metal, full porcelain, or zirconia. We tell you the brand before you pay; nothing is generic.
Frequently asked questions
How long does the entire process take?
Two trips: one for surgical placement (60–90 min), then 3–6 months of bone healing at home, then a second trip for the crown (60 min). Total active chair time: ~3 hours across both visits.
Is implant placement painful?
Local anesthesia means no pain during placement. Mild soreness for 2–3 days afterward, controlled with ibuprofen. Most patients drive back to Yuma the same day.
Are you sure the implant brand is real?
Yes. Every implant comes in its sealed manufacturer box and you keep the implant passport (serial number + brand) — same documentation any US clinic provides.
Do you do same-day implants?
For specific cases (good bone quality, immediate-load candidates) we offer same-day temporary crowns. Permanent crown still waits for healing. See our Same-Day Dentistry page.
What if my bone is too thin for an implant?
Bone grafting is done in the same surgical visit. Adds about $400–$800. For severe maxillary atrophy we offer Zygomatic Implants (no graft needed).
What is the warranty?
Lifetime warranty against implant body failure (we replace the implant free). Crown 5-year warranty against material failure. Documented in writing on your treatment plan.
Does my US dental insurance cover work in Mexico?
Most PPO plans reimburse 50–70% of the procedure when you submit the treatment-plan invoice. We provide all the documentation in the format US insurers accept.
